Tips to remove your HUD and different things

While getting decent recording software and video editing software is sometimes difficult, making your machinima of decent quality isn't. Now some people who post videos(beginners) find that they can't figure out how to remove HUDs or Command Lines

To get rid of your HUD, just go into your command console using the ` key, the one on the very left of your keyboard, just under escape. Now make sure you have console enabled as you won't be able to go into console without it. Just go into options, controls, advanced and tick allow developer console. With this turned on you can make your HUD disappear, just go into the consoles command line under the big box with all different commands that were executed and type draw_hud0(zero). That will make your HUD disappear and gives a more genuine look to your videos.

If you're using actors(players) to film and want to get rid of the weapons out of their hands, download this mod(only works in Gmod) it is a weapon called Kick Smod, and though doesn't look like you do anything when you attack with it, it makes your player model appear to not be holding any weapons.

this is not the one I use, and I'm not sure if it does the job, but try it, I can't find the original one that I use.

Recording Equipment And Editing Software

Well equipment is such a physical word, but if you're trying to find some very good recording software for your videos, try torrenting some good software, the one I use is torrented, I can't remember where I got it though, think I got it off Piratebay.org. But yeah look for some good one, don't go downloading trial software, unless you want to buy the full version, but for the people without wallets there uTorrent, it's fantastic for it, even if it's not real fraps, people create their own one, I use a custom one, it's fantastic.

Now Editing Software, I use Windows Movie Maker, it's not great I know, but I can't find a good torrented Sony Vegas anywhere. For those with it use Vegas, but read the tutorials, you don't want to go straight in without knowing what you're doing(that's what she said XD) cus' then you'll be stuck with all these files mixed up, all jumbled up.

Well this is the blog for the Gimps Of Gmod, and the next title which is currently being developed. I guess I created the blog to talk to you, the people who watch me vids, about things regarding Garrysmod machinimas, the offort you need to put in em, and what inspired me to make The Gimps Of Gmod, which, may not be great, still took a while to make and what I'm working on in my new movie, along with basically a behind the scenes feel to it.
